New Delhi : External Affairs Minister of India Dr. S. Jaishankar held a productive meeting with European Union Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, Ms. Ekaterina Zaharieva, focusing on strengthening cooperation in the areas of research, technology, innovation, and sustainable development.
During the meeting, Dr. Jaishankar and Commissioner Zaharieva discussed opportunities for collaboration in clean and green energy technologies, development of innovation hubs, promotion of startups, and enhanced engagement under the Horizon Europe programme.
The discussions highlighted the growing importance of India–EU cooperation in emerging technologies and research-driven solutions aimed at addressing global challenges, particularly in the fields of sustainable energy and innovation.
